Job Title: Billing Specialist (German Speaking)
Location: Milton Keynes/London (Remote/Hybrid)
About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Specialist, who speaks German & English to join our Finance Business Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing accurate, timely, and compliant invoices for a designated region, while supporting a high-quality billing experience for both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Working across multiple systems, including SAP, you'll play a key role in ensuring billing accuracy, resolving queries, and maintaining strong financial controls. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving and working with data.
Responsibilities- Produce accurate and complete client invoices in line with contract terms and pricing
- Review billing outputs to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to SLAs
- Investigate and resolve billing queries, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
- Manage day-to-day correspondence with internal teams and external clients
- Extract, interpret, and reconcile data from multiple systems to support invoicing
- Input billing details into SAP and maintain accurate system records for audit purposes
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, VAT regulations, and audit standards
- Support wider finance activities, including process improvements and ad hoc tasks
- Meet KPIs relating to accuracy, timeliness, and query resolution
To be successful in this role you will have:- Fluency in English and German
- Experience in a billing or finance operations role
- Strong knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system
- Experience managing complex billing cycles across multiple data sources
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Intermediate Excel skills and good working knowledge of MS Office
