YOUR TASKS:

The platform at night, the customer by day - both halves belong to this role.

• Act as a trusted point of contact for customer IT administrators, key users and service owners from retail, healthcare, logistics, energy or manufacturing industries.
• Monitor and support business-critical server, applications and platform environments.
• Analyze incidents, resolve technical issues independently and coordinate escalations when specialist support is required.
• Handle incidents, service requests and changes using our IT service management platform.
• Work with modern automation and AI-supported monitoring solutions that help identify and resolve issues faster.
• Support the operation and monitoring of enterprise applications, including SAP environments, based on established procedures and best practices.
• Perform maintenance activities, updates, patching and operational checks according to approved processes.
• Collaborate with colleagues from Operations, Consulting and Engineering teams on customer projects and service improvements.
• Share knowledge, document solutions and contribute to continuously improving our services and automation capabilities.
• Help maintain high service quality and compliance standards in regulated customer environments.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU:

• You do not carry 24/7 alone. Night shifts are shared across one team in Romania, Spain and Germany, with the German operations team and on-call behind you for escalations. Rosters are planned in advance - and night shifts can be worked from home.
• We are building our SAP operations up right now. You do not need SAP Basis on day one, but you will grow into it quickly: from monitoring and runbooks into operational tasks, and - if you want it - into real Basis work such as kernel and support-package updates, HANA topics and system changes. Bring SAP experience and you shape how we do it from the start. Don't bring it, and we build it with you.
• AI and automation skills built on the job: short course, practice on real events, small work sample, badge - during working hours, not in your free time.
• Your side project becomes our operating model. If you build n8n workflows or work with coding agents, that goes into how our team actually works - the runbook you automate is the alert nobody gets woken up for again.
• A visible way forward: our Knowledge & Automation Engineer and AI Evaluation Engineer roles are filled from our own teams first.
• A team of 10 to 15 in Cluj - small enough that people know your name, with direct access to your team lead and to our German and international customers.
• 2 days home office per week, 2 days on site in Cluj.
• Certification support - CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft Azure Administrator, SAP - paid, with time to prepare.
• 25 days of vacation, private healthcare, meal vouchers, and German language training funded up to C1.

WHAT YOU BRING:

Mandatory:

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset
• 2 years of experience in IT Support, Systems Administration or IT Operations
• Solid knowledge of Server Operations with MS Windows or Linux
• Good technical troubleshooting skills and the willingness to learn new technologies.
• Basic understanding of enterprise IT infrastructures and how systems work together (TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory and Windows server environments)
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift model.
• German (C1) and English (B2) language skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with monitoring solutions, event- (troubleshooting) and incident handling
• Experience with public cloud solutions (best MS Azure)
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, SCCM/Intune and scripting (PowerShell or Bash)
