German-Speaking Total Rewards Specialist

Job Description
Ford Central and Eastern European Sales LLC is looking for a German-Speaking Total Rewards Specialist to join us in our People First Team in our Budapest XIII. Váci Greens office.
The Specialist, Total Rewards, working under general direction, is responsible for supporting the Total Rewards projects, such as compensation studies, job evaluations, etc., with fairness and consistency in a timely manner. This role will conduct daily operations including investigations, mediations, and administration of company policies and procedures related to compensation and benefits programs. Additionally, the role will also be responsible for staying updated on trends and industry practices within the Total Rewards domain, collaborating with teams to implement training programs, and ensuring compliance with policies. The role would also maintain accurate and confidential records and data related to Total Rewards matters.
Responsibilities
• Contact person for compensation-related questions regarding tariff and AT+ (above-tariff plus) structures in Germany
• Review of non-tariff promotions, mass uploads, shift allowances, and compensation-related changes
• Support for Total Rewards projects (e.g., Job Architecture, development of a Total Rewards knowledge database, etc.)s
• Continuous optimization and efficiency improvement of AI solutions within Total Rewards
• Implementation of tariff increases (calculation of new pay values, cooperation with HR Digital regarding system implementation, updating of documentation, etc.)
• Support for benchmark analyses
• Optimization, creation, and analysis of pay and structural statistics as a controlling instrument
• Preparation and implementation of the tariff performance appraisal process and non-tariff bonus plans, as well as support for senior-level compensation plans in HCM, including information gathering and exchange with the global lead (participation in Regional Compensation Lead (RCL) meetings)
• Optimization of data quality in HR systems within the scope of responsibilities, including identifying and correcting pay-relevant changes (e.g., grade mismatches)
• Compilation and analysis of data on compensation topics (e.g., EU Pay Transparency) for advisory purposes and as a basis for management decision-making
• Evaluation of positions across assigned regional markets
Qualifications
Professional background:
• Bachelor's degree with a focus on business/economics or equivalent, ideally business administration with a specialization in human resources, or another comparable qualification
• Professional experience in HR fields with a focus on compensation
Key abilities:
• Very good knowledge of HR processes, internal guidelines, regulations and systems (HCM)
• Very good analytical skills
• Independent way of working, organizational talent, and the ability to set priorities
• Ability to cooperate and work in a team, communication talent
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Web Apps (Power BI)
