In this pivotal role, you will be the primary point of contact for German-speaking travelers, acting as a trusted travel ambassador. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support across multiple communication channels, including phone, email, and live chat. Your key objective is to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction, efficiently manage travel bookings, and provide comprehensive destination and product information. By doing so, you will uphold the high standards of service our esteemed client's brand is known for and foster strong, lasting relationships with travelers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities - Travel Consultation & Booking: Provide professional and efficient travel advice to German-speaking clients. This includes assisting with a wide range of travel inquiries, from flights and hotel reservations to car rentals, package tours, and cruises. You will research and recommend suitable travel options based on customer preferences, process bookings accurately, and handle secure payment transactions.
- Customer Service & Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints and travel-related issues with empathy and a solution-oriented approach. You will provide real-time assistance for urgent situations, offer accurate information on travel policies and regulations, and meticulously document all interactions in our CRM system.
- Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of various travel products, services, and destinations. You will stay continuously updated on industry trends, airline policies, and global travel advisories to provide accurate and timely information, reinforcing a positive brand image with every interaction.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. You will actively participate in training and team meetings, provide valuable feedback for process improvements, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
What We're Looking For - Language Proficiency: Native-level or C2 German is essential for effective communication with travelers. You must also be proficient in English (B2 level minimum) for internal communication and training.
- Skills & Experience: You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English. We are looking for an individual with a strong customer-first attitude, genuine empathy, and a passion for helping people. You must have proven problem-solving abilities, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Tech Savviness: The ability to learn quickly and navigate various booking systems, CRM software, and communication tools is a must.
- Location: This is an entirely on-site role in Mosta, Malta. You must already be based in Malta or willing to relocate on your own.
- Prior Experience: Previous experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar customer service role within the travel industry is a valuable asset, but not mandatory. We will provide comprehensive training to the right candidate.
