Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer support to German-speaking travellers via phone, email, and live chat, addressing enquiries related to bookings, itineraries, and travel arrangements.
• Assist customers with flight reservations, hotel bookings, car hire, and holiday package queries, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided at all times.
• Handle changes, cancellations, and rebooking requests in line with company policies and travel industry regulations, always prioritising a seamless customer experience.
• Proactively resolve travel disruptions, including flight delays, cancellations, and accommodation issues, by coordinating with relevant departments and third-party travel partners.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions and travel-related cases within the CRM system.
• Upsell and cross-sell relevant travel products and services, such as travel insurance, seat upgrades, and excursion packages, to enhance the overall customer journey.
• Stay up to date with the latest travel industry developments, destination information, entry requirements, and visa regulations to provide informed and reliable advice.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to escalate complex travel-related issues and ensure swift, satisfactory resolutions for all customers.

Requirements

• Native or fluent German language skills (both spoken and written) are essential for this role.
• A valid EU passport is mandatory.
• A solid command of English to communicate effectively within the international team environment.
• Previous experience in customer service, travel support, or a related travel industry role is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences in the travel sector.
