Job Summary

Responsibilities

Maintaining the general ledger for the local business in Austria and Germany, in particular:

• Preparing, verifying and posting accounting documents;
• Keeping records of fixed assets, capitalizing projects under construction and calculating depreciation;
• Ongoing analysis and reconciliation of accounts;
• Ensuring accurate and timely month and year-end closing;
• Preparing financial reports for the Group;
• VAT return and statistical declarations;
• Creating documentation and analysis for audit purposes and liaising with auditors;
• Ensuring compliance with internal control policies and SOX environment;
• working in the Treasury area (interest calculation, loan revaluation, intercompany settlements);
• providing substantive support to SSC, Financial Controller and local business.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Economy (Accounting, Finance, Banking or Controlling);
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in an international company;
• Fluent (C1) in English and good (B2) in German;
• Good practical knowledge and understanding of GL processes;
• Very good knowledge of SAP and MS Office application;
• High integrity, self-reliance and responsibility;
• Well-developed analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to work as part of a team.
