Job Title: Tribe Technical Lead (Platform Common Services)

Position Overview

• We are seeking a Tribe Technical Lead to be accountable and responsible to drive the technology transformation in AI solutioning for customer excellence, Disaster Recovery, Observability, Capacity Management practices, and cross-functional topics including FinOps & CMDB
• This role combines deep technical expertise with technology transformation ownership skills to deliver value across infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities

The "PCS" Tribe belongs to the CDC Pillar within Allianz Technology and provides the Allianz Group with services related to Customer Enablement, Disaster Recovery, Observability, Capacity Management, Sustainability, and few cross-Tribe topics like CMDB and service portfolio management.

As Tribe Technical Lead for the PCS Tribe, you will work closely with the Tribe Business Lead and the Product Owners of the individual squads.

Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and technically implementing the product strategy in close coordination with the Product Owners
• Ensuring that the product strategy is implemented globally
• Continuously driving simplification of services and the system landscape
• Ensuring a "Zero Impact Outages" strategy for the services
• Identifying and leveraging synergies in services at a global level
• Translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Being the first point of contact for the squads on technical questions

What you bring:

• Solid knowledge of AI tooling, Observability, Disaster Recovery, Capacity Management, VMware, X86 server technologies and Storage.
• Experience in managing infrastructure services
• Strong understanding of business requirements and excellent decision-making skills
• Proven track record and experience in creating IT processes and/or IT solutions
• Experience applying agile methodologies
• Fluent in German and English
• Experience with the product lifecycle

Must-Have

• Min.15-year experience in Infrastructure Operations / Management
• Understanding of Dynatrace/ monitoring solutions in market
• Proven experience in Capacity Management - planning, forecasting, and optimization of compute, storage, and network resources
• Knowledge of FinOps principles and cloud cost management practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong backlog management skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business audiences
• Basic Understanding of hybrid/multi-cloud environments (e.g., VMware, Azure, AWS)
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities
• Hands-on experience with on-prem infrastructure topics such as VMware/OS rightsizing, DR capacity management, CMDB/ITOM, and sustainability practices across x86 and data center environments

Reporting & Collaboration

• Works direct with the Tribe lead of Platform Services, functionally reporting to Area Technical Lead
• Collaborates with: Tribe Architect, other Tribe Technical Leads, Infrastructure engineers, Cloud Platform Teams, Finance/Controlling, Application Development, Enterprise Architecture, Vendor Management
