Information Security Operations Specialist

Tasks
Key responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• Ensure compliance with information security regulations and standards (e.g., NIS2, EASA Part-IS, ISO/IEC 27001, PCI DSS).
• Conduct security risk assessments and define appropriate mitigation measures (non-technical).
• Perform security reviews (non-technical) of suppliers, partners, and new business initiatives.
• Support internal and external audits, certifications, and compliance activities.
• Contribute to security incident management and risk reporting.
• Coordinate security awareness and training initiatives across the organization.
• Advise business and IT stakeholders on information security requirements and best practices.

Requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in Information Security Governance, ISMS, Risk Management, or Compliance.
• Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 and information security governance practices.
• Experience with regulatory requirements such as NIS2, GDPR, EASA Part-IS, or PCI DSS.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and in a structured manner.
• Fluent English skills (C2)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer).
• Experience in supplier security, incident management, and audit coordination.
• Knowledge of cloud security, AI governance, and aviation industry regulations.
• Fluent German skills (C1/C2)
