Logistics Specialist

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate daily incoming deliveries to our plant, including storage and silo inventory analysis
• Manage freight capacity and scheduling for all transport modes (train, barge, truck)
• Monitor delivery timelines and follow-up deadlines
• Prepare and obtain import documents, certificates, invoices
• Have a clear overview on contract balances
• Process delivery notes and maintain accurate data entries in our IT systems
• Check and dispatch goods invoices and manage dunning procedures
• Maintain contract and master data while performing general administrative tasks
• Cooperate on cross-functional projects with departments such as Health & Safety and Quality Management
• Participate in and conduct internal training sessions

Requirements

• Completed commercial/supply chain education, ideally in logistics, industry, foreign trade, or shipping - or equivalent practical experience
• Knowledge of the agricultural commodities market and vessel operations is an advantage
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken. Native Hungarian, or B2 - C1 level (written and spoken. German speaking welcomed.
• Confident user of standard IT applications, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Independent, accurate, and well-structured working style
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A two-year fixed-term employment contract
