As a Material Planner within BMW Group's logistics division, you're a crucial part of our vision to revolutionize the way we think about cars. Your work helps to ensure that deliveries are always made on time and in the correct order.

What awaits you?

• International environment - you will be responsible at a group level across multiple locations and entities (global plant sites of the BMW AG and suppliers all over the world).
• Shared activities - you will be integrated in an international operating team and perform also for other BMW Group entities.
• Team - as a member of our Material Planning team you'll be working in a multicultural environtment together with 50 people. In the team there are junior, medior and senior colleagues, as well, and they are splitted into smaller groups based on the focus points (production areas).
• Planning and procurement - you will be responsible for the procurement of a defined range of parts to ensure supply of production.
• Ensuring supply performance - you will be the key point of contact for suppliers and internal customers, you will track and ensure the supply performance in accordance with production program and various supply concepts.
• Problem Solving - you will be supporting supplier escalation and root-cause analysis from logistics point of view.
• Data maintenance - you will be responsible for master data maintenance.

What should you bring along?

• Educational Background - university degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent professional experience.

• Work Experience - at least 2 years of experience in material planning, supply chain management or in logistics. Knowledge of logistics/warehousing and SAP (R3, HANA) would be an advantage.

• Language skills - fluent German and English skills are required, Hungarian is a nice to have.

• Precision & Teamwork - ability to work under time pressure, being able to solve problems independently. Precise, structured, analytical working style.

• Work schedule - willingness to work in shifts.
