The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Governance & Architecture Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of security processes, risk management frameworks, and technical security architectures. This role will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing security incidents, and supporting secure cloud strategies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Security Governance:

• Develop and operationalize IT security processes, procedures, and governance models.
• Provide expert consulting on secure cloud strategies and build technical competencies within customer organizations.
• Manage cryptographic methods including PKI encryption.
• Prepare, support, and follow up on penetration testing and technical audits (e.g., TIBER-DE).
• Interpret and implement regulatory requirements (e.g., BAIT, GDPR).
• Support internal and external audits (e.g., auditors, BaFin).
• Advise on IT risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
• Design and analyze risk scenarios and conduct risk assessments.
• Track and report on risk mitigation measures.
• Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans.
• Deliver service packages related to IT risk management and audit readiness.
• Detect and respond to security threats and incidents.
• Coordinate vulnerability management and remediation with IT and InfoSec teams.
• Draft and maintain security concepts and documentation.
• Evaluate and enhance IT security architecture.

Security Architecture:

• Design and implement IT security systems, focusing on network access protection (e.g., segmentation, firewalls, proxies, load balancers).
• Develop secure encryption methods for critical data using PKI and other technologies.
• Establish procedures for managing administrative access and securing production environments.
• Implement system hardening measures based on vulnerability scan results.
• Create concepts to meet safety and integrity requirements.
• Conduct proof-of-concept testing for new security technologies.
• Produce technical documentation for internal and client use.

Required Technical and Professional Experience:

Tools & Technologies:

• Netskope Agent & Cloud Exchange: Configuration, lifecycle updates, certificate management, SIEM integration.
• Security Infrastructure: Proxy, PAC files, ingress/egress controls.
• Asset Management: CMDB integration and data handling.
• Security Data Points: URL, IP, application, user policies, ports, exceptions, client configurations.

Language Requirements:

• German Language Proficiency: proficiency in German is required to effectively interpret and implement regulatory frameworks such as BAIT and GDPR, collaborate with German-speaking stakeholders, and support audits and technical assessments conducted in German-speaking environments.
