About you

In line with M47's exciting growth, we are on the quest for a talented Language Engineer to join our NLP team to work on cutting-edge Personal Voice Assistant software used by millions of users worldwide, with one of our major clients. We are looking for someone with native knowledge of several languages and local (see below) to join us!

In this role, you will support the training for Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing models to help expand and adapt the software to your native language, so the ideal candidate has programming fundamentals, an understanding of Machine Learning/NLP concepts and processes combined with a love for language to help them go a step beyond in human-machine interaction.

About your day-to-day:

• Iterating on data to improve the accuracy of NLP/ML models for your native language
• Analyze the model's output to provide insights and improvements, deciding which type of data should be fed to the algorithm.
• Provide input and suggestions towards innovating new approaches and new product features tailored to your home market.
• Automating and integrating workflows from diverse systems.
• Ensure transversal and continuous communication with the team and the client.

This is for you if you're native to the language and culture of one of the following locales:

1) English from Great Britain (en_GB)

2) German from Germany (de_DE)

3) Finnish from Finland (fi_FI)

What you'll need:

• Native knowledge of any of the mentioned locales.
• 1+ year of engineering experience and interest in diverse technical areas.
• Experience in NLP, Machine Learning or related fields such as Data Engineering
• Knowledge of Python and any of the typical ML libraries such as Pytorch, Scitkit-learn, Keras, NLTK, etc.
• Good linguistic comprehension and knowledge of the structural aspects of the desired language.
• Experience with GIT or other version control systems.
• Good organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to think outside of the box and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills
• An academic background (BSc or MSc) in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Speech technologies, related fields, or equivalent experience.
