What we expect
Your responsibilities would be:
- Overall responsible for the incoming and outgoing payment process of the countries or operational units in scope (German, Austrian, and Swiss entities).
- Lead a team of Cash Management Accountants in order to deliver quality services to all internal customers (7-8 FTE).
- Manage ongoing operations of the team. Plan and monitor the capacity and workload of the team, hire additional approved team members according to anticipated workload.
- Coach and motivate team members.
- Lead by example a cross functional collaboration, create a motivating working atmosphere and actively drive the change management.
- Play an active role in the transition of payment-related processes from European entities to Hungary.
- Ensure the preparation, validation and regular update of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Desktop procedures (DTP).
- Lead projects assigned to the role (incl. Process optimization).
- Support in defining main KPI's and the delivery model of Shared Service Center (SSC).
- Ensuring rules and regulations to be followed by the team.
- Identify, evaluate issues (incl. process improvements).
- Be adherent to the agreed service levels (SLA), policies and procedures.
- Engage in collaboration with the business and stakeholders on every level to develop a professional relationship, including regular business reviews (weekly for small audience, monthly for local leadership).
- Active role during internal and external audits.
- Support the Senior Manager to monitor the team's performance.
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives.
- Create business reports/presentations.
- Lead weekly business calls and manage client requests.
- Fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
Who we are looking for
You are a perfect fit to our team if you:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or equivalent qualification, Professional accountancy qualification is strongly beneficial.
- 3-5+ years of experience in either AP, Treasury or any other accounting related function.
- People Management experience preferred, but at least a few years of experience coordinating people in any kind of environment.
- Advanced English knowledge (written and spoken as well) is a strict requirement.
- German language skills are considered highly advantageous.
- SAP, Navision, Microsoft Dynamix or any other major ERP system knowledge.
- Experience and motivation for process improvements is a must.
- Experience in participating in transitions is an advantage.
- Other accounting experience is an advantage.
- SSC experience is considered highly advantageous.
