Payroll Specialist with German-Consultant (f/m/d)

• Support payroll accounting activities by reviewing checklists, validating payroll data, and ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Process employee payroll requests, payments, deductions, non-cash benefits, and benefits-in-kind transactions in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll topics, ensuring professional, clear, and service-oriented communication.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of payroll transactions, corrections, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare recurring monthly reports as well as ad-hoc payroll reports based on business or stakeholder requirements.
• Support monthly payroll test/simulation, and final payroll runs by verifying transactions in SAP and resolving identified discrepancies/errors.
• Validate and analyze payroll-related data received through interfaces from public institutions, including health insurance providers and tax authorities, also conduct payroll specific communication with these authorities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure payroll data quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement.

• Expertise in HR payroll processes for minimum 2 years.
• Understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and payroll cycle activities.
• Experience working with payroll systems (SAP HCM required);nice to have is experience in working with SuccessFactors.
• Knowledge of German statutory payroll requirements and interactions with public institutions.
• Excel intermediate level.
• Good German and English skills.
• Degree with a focus on HR, Economics, or similar studies.
• Passion for working with different HR systems and digitalisation of processes, as well as a proactive, hands-on mentality to contribute to different implementation initiatives.
• Flexibility and the ability to work both, independently and in a team.
• Evaluation skills and analytical thinking.
• Structured working methodologies with high affinity for data.

• Start: by arrangement - always on the 1st and 15th of the month
• Working hours: full-time (40h); 27 vacation days
• Employment contract: Unlimited

• Language skills: Fluency in written and spoken English and German
• Flexibility & willingness to travel for on-site assignments
• Other: a valid work permit
