Payroll Team Leader with German

Job Description

In this role you'll:

• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-country payroll team.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll delivery ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Manage workload distribution, priorities, and adherence to payroll calendars and SLAs.
• Drive process standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, Finance, and regional teams.
• Support internal and external payroll audits and maintain strong control frameworks.
• Resolve complex payroll issues and escalate critical risks when needed.

What's needed:

• 7+ years of payroll experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in multi-country payroll operations.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP Payroll and SAP Time Management.
• Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Solid understanding of payroll controls, compliance, and risk management.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Advanced English and German language proficiency.
