PLM Teamcenter Inhouse Consultant (System or Solution Architect) (m/f/d)

As part of the continued evolution of our global PLM landscape, we are hiring a PLM Teamcenter Inhouse Consultant (System or Solution Architect) (m/f/d) to join our PLM Department within ITO. Depending on your area of expertise and interests, your role may focus more strongly on system architecture or solution architecture. In this role, you will contribute to the development, operation, and continuous improvement of our business-critical PLM processes and systems within an international environment.

YOUR TASKS:

In case of system architecture

• Contribute to the conceptual design, implementation, and continuous improvement of PLM solutions and system architecture
• Support eoperaitonal activities, incident analysis, problem resolution, and system stabilization when required
• Drive innovation in PLM by evaluating new technologies, digital engineering approaches, AI capabilities, and system improvements

In case of business architecture

• Contribute to the definition and evolution of PLM fovernance, standards, best practices, and architecture guidelines
• Analyze business processes and translate business requirements into sustainable PLM solutions through international PLM projects
• Act as a trusted partner for business stakeholders, helping to idenitfy opportunities for process optimization and digitalization

YOUR PROFILE:

• Academic qualification or equivalent professional experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Several years of experience in enterprise applications, IT systems, software solutions, engineering environments, or related technology domains
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a structured and pragmatic working style
• A proactive mindset and the willingness to take ownership of topics and drive them forward
• Fluent English language skills

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

In case of system architecture

• Database administration and optimization (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar)
• Installation, deployment, upgrade, and lifecycle management of business-critical applications
• Networking, communications, security, and connectivity concepts
• On-premise, cloud, or hybrid infrastructure environments
• Scripting, automation, and software development using technologies such as Java, Python, PowerShell, SQL, or similar

In case of business architecture

• Business process analysis and process optimization
• Requirements engineering and solution design
• Stakeholder management and business consulting
• Functional knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes

Experience with the following topics is considered an advantage

• AI-supported engineering or digitalization initiatives
• Siemens Teamcenter and NX, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
• SAP and enterprise application integrations
• Teamcenter administration, configuration, customization, data model with BMIDE
• Reporting and analytics platforms such as Power BI or Teamcenter Reporting & Analytics
• Engineering, manufactring, renewable energy, or other industrial environments
• Fluent German language skills
