Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled Engineer, IT Development Generalist (PS Configuration Engineer) to join our Digital Solutions Implementations team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, testing, and implementation of complex enterprise document imaging and digital solutions for global clients.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

• Design & Technical Delivery: Formulate detailed solution designs and develop software applications using DXP/IDP/DSP core platforms, modern programming languages, and databases.
• Project Estimation & Execution: Determine development level of effort and timelines, conduct unit testing, and assist clients with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and troubleshooting.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal project teams and global clients to understand technical requirements, communicate status, and manage development risks.
• Maintenance & Integration: Perform ongoing maintenance, software integrations, and problem solving for application incidents across existing systems.
• Compliance & Security: Maintain complete compliance with Iron Mountain change management processes, information security policies, and EU local data residency/EU eyes-only restrictions.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience: experience in software development, full SDLC processes, and Document Management System (DMS) platform development.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in programming languages (Python, C#, VB.Net, VBA, XML, JSON, APIs) and databases (SQL); experience with Globalscape is a plus.
• Language Requirements: Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
• Education & Location: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience), living in Poland, Romania, Hungary, or Slovakia.
• Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with Digital Transformation solutions, incident management tools, and compliance with EU data residency restrictions.
