Risk Management Reporting with German

Job role

Support the client AZ SE Group Risk team in various Risk Management Reporting activities, with a main scope of producing the AR, SFCR and ORSA reports both German and English versions, with good expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and data collection.

What you will do

  • Collection of inputs from input providers within Group Risk and from other AZ SE Group Centers based on time table provided by Group Risk/GAR;
  • Implementation of these inputs in Smartnotes (software combining) ;
  • Quality assurance on formal timeliness and completeness of inputs from input providers;
  • Management of the SN snippet structure w.r.t organizational changes at input providers (changes in responsibilities/department structures/teams;
  • Management of structure of snippets share with AZ SE reports;
  • Creation of draft reports;
  • Technical organization of vetting processes and finalization of documents;
  • Identify and implement improvements in processes and tools in order to simplify them
  • Provide timely, efficient and professional service delivery to stakeholders


What you bring

  • Strong expertise in combining components in form of text, numbers and graphs, in several languages and from a large number of input providers into very high-quality documents:
  • Key criteria for quality: Correctness in language, consistency in terminology and style within a report, identical content of English and German versions of a report.
  • Correctness in language requires fluency in writing in both English and German.
  • Other criteria especially require good expertise in Word, Excel and Powerpoint, good IT understanding as a basis to quickly learn how to manage a very large number of word snippets (currently, 529 German and around 500 English snippets) from more than 20 input providers leading to 5 reports (AR_Eng, AR_Deu, SFCR_Eng, SFCR_Deu, RSR, ORSA_Eng, ORSA_Deu), as well as high level of comfort in working with texts and numbers, and strong ambition to minimize errors.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills and organizational skills, both in daily cooperation with the person in Group Risk bearing ultimate responsibility for timely and high-quality delivery of the reports (both editorial and content), with GAR, with GR-RCCSE, and with a wide range and heterogenous group of input providers, whose competences are more biased to content than to language/form (includes managing and storing a large number of files from input providers).
  • 3Good ability and willingness to work under time pressure in finalization of reports based on late changes in content combined with hard deadlines for deliveries.


You have
  • Master's degree in Insurance, Finance, Economics, Statistics or Actuarial Sciences
  • Experience in insurance/finance area with focus on risk management/financial analysis/controlling
  • MS Office, including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint skills, advanced level in Excel
  • Programming (e.g. R, Python and VBA) as well as Data visualization (e.g. PowerBI) experience is a plus
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to study towards UK IFoA actuarial certification.
