Join us as a Sales Development Representative to power Qonto's inbound growth in Germany. As Qonto's first SDR for Germany, you will own inbound lead qualification and demo booking for our Small Business segment, freeing our Account Executives to focus on closing and onboarding, and you will build the playbook that shapes how this function scales across our markets.

This is a founding role. You will not inherit a process, you will define it.

As an SDR at Qonto, you will

• Be the first point of contact for every inbound lead, qualifying fast and turning conversations into booked demos for our Account Executives
• Build real rapport with German decision-makers (CEOs, CFOs) from the very first call, understanding their business before handing them off to the right AE
• Sustain a high-tempo inbound motion: around 50 calls a day, a 5-minute response target on fresh leads, and 4 to 5 demos booked daily
• Keep demos on track by chasing no-shows and rescheduling, so nothing falls through the cracks
• Own the build from day one: flag what is broken, keep the CRM sharp, define the handoff standard with AEs, and lay the groundwork for the outbound motion future SDRs will run

• Close daily work with two Account Executives on your segment, plus a dedicated methodological sparring partner in Sales Enablement (an ex-SDR who knows the upmarket motion inside out)
• A clear path to growing into AE, Lead SDR role as we reach our growth objectives

His path?

Mattia leads the German sales team at Qonto, bringing a strong understanding of the local SMB market and the day-to-day realities of high-velocity inbound sales. He will work closely with you as you build the SDR function, define the collaboration model with Account Executives, and scale the motion over time.

About You

• German: native or fully fluent. You will spend your day on the phone with German SMB decision-makers, this is non-negotiable
• Minimum 1 year as an inbound SDR or in sales development, ideally selling to SMBs in the 10 to 50 employee range, speaking directly with CEOs, CFOs and financial decision-makers
• You self-organize and stay disciplined through high daily call volume, without close supervision. Autonomy is core to this role, not a bonus
• You are comfortable living in a CRM daily (Salesforce or HubSpot)
• You bring genuine curiosity about outbound prospecting and an ownership-driven approach to fixing broken processes
• You see long-term potential in the SMB segment, you do not treat it as a stepping stone
