Who we are looking for

🟢 As organizations accelerate their SAP transformation journeys, integration has become a critical enabler of business success. We are looking for a Full Stack SAP ABAP Developer to join Deloitte's Central Europe SAP Technology team and support the strategic project for a leading german transportation company.
🟢 You will work in a landscape that is being migrated from existing SAP ERP systems towards S/4HANA, and you will have the opportunity to build modern solutions and extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), combining strong backend development skills with integration capabilities and, ideally, Fiori experience. German knowledge would be a strong plus.

💼What you bring

• You are a developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, collaborating with functional and integration teams, and staying at the forefront of SAP development technologies. You bring:
• 5-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP OO development in ECC and/or S/4HANA.
• Strong skills in CDS Views and SAP RAP, including building services and data models for the future S/4HANA landscape.
• Practical experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) in the context of custom developments or extensions.
• Solid integration experience with IDoc/ALE, OData services and Web Services in SAP environments.
• Good understanding of S/4HANA concepts and interest in supporting S/4HANA migration/transformation projects.
• Fiori - experience developing or extending applications is a plus.
• Experience working with web services and integrations in SAP landscapes.
• Very good command of English; German language skills are an advantage for collaboration with your future project teammates.
• Strong communication skills, a consulting mindset and willingness to continuously learn new SAP technologies (S/4HANA, BTP, Fiori).

Your future role

As a Full Stack SAP ABAP Developer, you will:

• Apply your knowledge of ABAP OO, Fiori (optionally), Integration (IDoc/ALE, OData, Web Services) and SAP BTP to design and implement solutions that support your future project.
• Design and implement complex ABAP OO programs, enhancements and CDS/RAP based services as part of custom development.
• Work with functional teams to understand which requirements can be delivered through customizing and which need system develop pment or enhancements.
• Help the team on its way towards S/4HANA and BTP developments by implementing agreed designs and following defined development guidelines.
• Build and support integrations using IDoc/ALE, OData and Web Services that connect SAP components and Fiori applications.
• Ensure that best practices in SAP development and integration are followed in your day to day work and contribute to continuous improvement of those practices.
