Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Sofia!

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the correctness of the G/L entries in compliance with the Mitel Financial Reporting Guidelines as well as local GAAP requirements;
• Mentor and assign tasks to an offshore accounting team
• Prepare and validate accounting and reporting data for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing;
• Identify and resolve General Ledger problems within their specific area of assignment including balance sheet reconciliations;
• Act as a subject matter expert within the Accounting team and as a second line of escalation for queries related to all accounting processes;
• A high level of interaction with different teams within the Shared Service Center (SSC) and Mitel Departments.
• Provide accounting advice and guidance to other Mitel departments like Order Processing, Controlling, etc.;
• Work tightly with the Team Leader in any areas of support
• Provide year-end audit support

Requirements:

• University degree in accounting or equivalent education
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounting
• Fluent German and English Language Skills; Written/Verbal required
• SAP, MS Office (advanced Excel skills)
• Strong SAP FI/CO experience would be considered as advantage
• Experience with Blackline would be considered an advantage
• Additional skill in any of other language would be an advantage
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Customer oriented
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines required
• ACCA/CIMA would be considered advantage
