The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Internal Business Advisor with financial experience who will play a key role to advise and support our internal client serving teams in the Europe West region (Germany, Switzerland and Austria) to make best use of tailored for EY SAP-based software solution embedded in a more user-friendly interface, aiming to effectively manage external client projects from internal financial perspective. This role offers the possibility of using German and English language skills on a daily basis while provide high-quality advice to our internal customers in terms of financial metrics, system usage and process navigation. Your key responsibilities

On a daily basis our Senior Internal Business Advisor have following tasks:

• Work with finance teams to reach out to client servers and assist with their financial challenges
• Prepare and facilitate training for client serving teams on the use of software and financial topics
• Provide virtual support to our client serving teams via phone and email
• Ensure that the needed responses are provided in a quick manner or escalated when essential
• Document all calls and emails in the system
• Share best practices and provide support to other teams and team members across borders and service lines
• Stay up to date with latest policies, processes and tools
• Stay connected with the business and functional experts
• Build up competence and strive for knowledge

As a new recruit, you will undergo our onboarding program which includes:

• EYs business in the designated region
• 30 days of intensive system and finance training program
• Work in test environment, group training, work shadowing with peers

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Very good German and good English literacy
• Graduate and/or professional certification in a business related subject matter (i.e. Accounting, Finance)
• or commensurate experience in an Accounting or Finance role is required to esquire this position
• Professional approach, demonstrating tact and diplomacy
• Strong communication and teaming
• Excellent listening and ability to ask the right questions
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to view issues through the clients' perspectives

Ideally, you should also have

• Ability to prioritize workload and deliver outputs within strict deadlines
• Excel / Power BI literacy

What we look for

We are interested in hiring a professional in customer service area (at least 3 years of experience), who is experienced in financial economics. You should be able to work with limited supervision and demonstrate self-drive and also prioritize workload and deliver outputs within strict deadlines. As an ideal candidate you should have a strong desire to help and support people requiring assistance - you need to be a fantastic team player
