Senior Financial Risk Management Consultant with German (m/f)

Our Treasury & Financial risk management team at PwC is looking for a new colleague to join our dynamic team of rising professionals.

What will be Your role?

In this role, your responsibilities will include evaluating diverse financial data and assessing their profitability for our clients, acting as a trusted advisor. You will also have the opportunity to work with clients based in DACH region, supporting them with your expertise in both the financial and language aspects.

Furthermore, You will:

• Support DACH teams for large multinational clients by participating in their Impairment testing and Purchase price allocation engagements, ensuring adherence to the high-quality standards,
• Participate also on the local projects of the valuation of different financial instruments (bonds, derivatives, options, ordinary and preference shares, etc.), impairment tests (fixed assets, intangible assets, goodwill, etc.), or share-based payments assessments.
• Manage and lead a team of junior consultants.
• Ensure first-class service for our global clients, enabling the expansion of your professional network and knowledge.
• Opportunity to participate on risk management projects focused on market risk.

What are we looking for in You?

• At least 3-4 years of professional experience in audit or other roles with a financial background.
• Fluency in German and professional knowledge of the English language (both at least at a B2 level).
• Experience and skills with preparation or review of discounted cash flow models or the valuation of financial instruments.
• Team player with strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
• Good analytical skills with a focus on detail.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills.
• Creative thinking with the ability to bring out-of-the-box solutions and ideas.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of and experience with international financial reporting standards like IAS 36, IFRS 9 or IFRS 13.
• Experience with data modeling.
• Skills in financial risk management.

Salary: From 2050 EUR/gross/monthly
(For candidates with many years of experience, the salary is negotiable based on experience and proven seniority.)
