You will own growth in Germany from strategy through to commercial outcome. Your decisions will shape acquisition, retention, contribution and the future of Kapsel, while giving the executive team a clear view of where the market is heading and what to do next.

Please note you must be fluent in German.

What you'll be doing

• Own the German growth P&L, including revenue, CAC, LTV, contribution margin and payback. Set the targets, own the forecast and stay focused on profitable growth rather than vanity metrics.
• Define and deliver the growth strategy for Germany, balancing established channels, emerging platforms and meaningful experimentation.
• Identify the highest leverage opportunities to scale acquisition while improving efficiency.
• Lead the full funnel across paid search and social, including Google, Meta and Bing, alongside SEO, CRM, lifecycle marketing and CRO.
• Make sure every channel is integrated, measured against unit economic targets and working towards the same commercial goals.
• Partner with CRM to improve repeat purchase, cohort retention and lifetime value.
• Build the attribution, reporting and forecasting infrastructure needed to give marketing and finance one reliable view of CAC and contribution.
• Build, lead and develop the German growth team. Set clear expectations, hire ahead of the curve and create an environment where specialists can do their best work.
• Represent Germany at leadership level, communicating performance, risks and strategy with clarity and commercial honesty.
• Translate market performance into clear decisions for the executive team and board.
• Balance long term strategy with hands on problem solving, from setting a three year plan to diagnosing and fixing a retention issue this week.

What we're looking for

Essential

• Significant experience in digital growth or performance marketing, including at least three years in a senior leadership role with ownership of strategy and a team.
• A proven track record of scaling a D2C, subscription or telehealth business through a meaningful growth phase, with a direct and demonstrable impact on revenue and contribution.
• Experience owning unit economics, including CAC, LTV, payback and contribution margin.
• Experience making the commercial trade offs that lead to profitable growth.
• Demonstrable success building and leading high performing growth teams.
• Confidence operating at executive and board level, with the judgement to communicate hard truths clearly.
• Deep, hands on command of paid media across Google Ads, Meta and Bing, alongside SEO and lifecycle or CRM marketing.
• Strong analytical and forecasting skills, including experience with GA4, Looker Studio and SEMrush.
• Real fluency in cohort analysis, attribution and segmentation. You direct the data rather than simply consume it.
• A deep understanding of the German market, consumer behaviour and competitive landscape.
• A strong understanding of the German healthcare and pharmacy regulatory environment, including HWG and advertising restrictions relating to healthcare and prescription products.
• German speaking and based in the UK.

Desirable

• Experience turning around or rebuilding the economics of an underperforming market or channel.
• Experience adapting growth strategy to local market conditions.
• Experience collaborating across multiple markets.
