Description & RequirementsWho we are looking for - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP Payroll, including SAP HCM PA, OM, PY and/or SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) for Germany or Switzerland.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and HR administration, including payroll schemas and rules, personnel calculation rules (PCRs), wage types, bank file configuration, and EC-Payroll integration concepts.
- Proven experience configuring and customizing SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors ECP to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Solid expertise in analyzing and resolving payroll and HR data-related issues in hybrid SAP HCM / SuccessFactors landscapes.
- Strong background in business process analysis, optimization, and project delivery within HR transformation programs.
- Good command of German (spoken and written).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at different levels.
- EU work permit
Nice to Have - SAP certifications, such as:
- SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
- SAP HCM Payroll for SAP S/4HANA
- Experience working in a hybrid HR landscape with SuccessFactors Employee Central as the core HR system.
- Hands-on experience with payroll data migration from SAP ERP HCM to SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Practical knowledge of payroll processing using the Payroll Control Center (PCC) frontend.
- Experience with:
- SAP HCM Time Management (PT) customization, or
- SuccessFactors Time Tracking / Time Management (EC Time).
Your future role As a Senior SAP Payroll Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality payroll solutions for German clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize SAP HCM Payroll/SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) processes, contributing to complex transformation and migration projects.
Your Responsibilities - Analyze HR and payroll processes and design optimal solutions within SAP HCM Payroll and/or SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) (PY-DE or PY-CH).
- Configure, enhance, and support SAP HCM modules (PA, OM, PY) or SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll, acting as a key contributor or lead in payroll transformation, hybrid HR landscape, and migration initiatives.
- Support the transition from SAP HCM Payroll to SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), including process alignment, data harmonization, and integration between EC and Payroll.
- Interpret German labor law and payroll regulations and translate business and compliance requirements into robust system configurations across on-premise and cloud-based payroll solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HR master data, Employee Central data, payroll schemas, and payroll processing.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand business needs, optimize HR and payroll processes, and ensure system solutions deliver measurable value in hybrid or cloud-first HR architectures.
- Mentor junior consultants and actively contribute to the development of internal standards and best practices for SAP Payroll and SuccessFactors ECP implementations.
