Senior Strategic Buyer (German- Hungarian speaker)

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Buyer for our stable international production partner.

Location:
• Bács-Kiskun County
• 2 days home office/week

TASKS:
• Planning, managing and optimizing strategic procurement processes
• Procurement of direct and indirect materials, maintenance of master data
• Maintaining relationships with domestic and international suppliers and parent companies
• Identifying and auditing new sourcing opportunities
• Continuous monitoring and evaluation of supplier performance
• Conducting price negotiations and coordinating contract agreements
• Market analysis and identification of cost reduction opportunities
• Active participation in the development of logistics and procurement processes
• Close cooperation with related departments (production, production planning, warehouse, quality assurance, finance)
• Preparation of reports, KPI development and ensuring compliance processes

REQUIREMENTS:
• University or college degree in economics, engineering, logistics or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in strategic procurement and/or logistics
• Fluent German language skills are required (English is an advantage)
• Advanced MS Office knowledge and active usage
• Experience with SAP or ABAS ERP systems is an advantage
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Reliable, proactive, motivated and precise personality with strong problem-solving skills
