Supervisor Accounts Payable with German (m/f/d)

As a Supervisor Accounts Payable with German (m/f/d) you will be leading a small AP team and drive process excellence across invoice processing, ERP optimization, and month-end closing activities. You'll work closely with an international team, supporting standardization across business units and contributing to global process improvements.
About the Role

• Oversees the processing of incoming invoices, ensuring compliance with policies and accuracy in ERP systems
• Supervises and mentors a small team of Accounts Payable Accountants, guiding daily operations, workload distribution, and quality assurance
• Reviews accounts payable reconciliations, clarifies discrepancies, and ensures timely payment execution
• Works closely with the ERP team to develop and automize the AP process as well as ERP rollouts
• Monitors and clears AP open items and ensuring there are no payment delays, as well as standardizes AP processes for different business units
• Supports internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and providing necessary data
• Manages month-end and year-end closing processes for the AP department, ensuring accuracy and timely submission, as well as any Ad-hoc tasks as required

About You

• Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience and minimum 2 years people management experience
• Proven experience with staff management/leadership
• Proficiency in German and English
• Experience in AP processes, ERP systems and centralization strategy
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build relationship
