YOUR ROLE

The purpose of the role is to lead a team of operators in the Finance Knowledge Center, who are responsible for the work and support of KN clients. The function also includes responsibility for ensuring the timely and efficient performance of the operators within the established quality standards.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Improve your team's operational and administrative procedures in accordance with the Process Owner's and Manager directives to increase efficiency
• Maintain (planning, tracking and reporting) employee work schedules including assignments, job rotation, training, vacations, paid leaves and cover for absenteeism
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff and provide career development planning and opportunities
• With the assistance of human resources, as needed, lead employees through a performance management and development process that includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning in addition to providing effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action
• Maintain transparent communication. Appropriately communicate organization information through team meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate email and regular interpersonal communication
• Inducting new Employees to new procedures and tasks

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Experience in Finance on the Account Payable side
• Excellent knowledge and command of German language
• Excellent knowledge and command of English language
• Prior experience with customs processes is preferred
• Organizational, planning, and communication skills
• Excellent time management
• Interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Delegation and problem-solving
• Leadership skills
