Local Purchasing Representative with German

Kindly note that there is no relocation support provided by the company for this position.
- Be responsible for supplier management within the area of non-production material for our largest German plant, overseeing all aspects of non-production material procurement, including negotiations and final contracting
- Coordinate procurement processes and ensure delivery of goods and services from both internal and external partners.
- Manage E-Procurement, encourage and ensure the use of catalogs by internal users, update e-catalogs with accurate prices, and maintain the catalog system.
- Monitor and control maverick buying, ensuring all purchases are backed by proper requisitions to minimize non-compliant transactions.
- Maintain existing Ratio C projects and achieve savings in this area
- Work closely with internal Shared Service Centre teams, including spot buyers and category managers in the plant, to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Regularly communicate with key stakeholders, including top management, primarily in German as well as in English
YOUR PROFILE:
- Education: High school/University degree in Economy or another relevant field
- Experience: 2+ years in purchasing ideally in the automotive sector
- Required skills: advanced knowledge in Microsoft 365, experience with SAP, experience with PowerBI is an advantage
- Languages: advanced knowledge of German language (C1), fluent English language (B2)
- Competencies: good negotiation and communication skills, capable work independently, strong decision-making skills, organization and coordination skills, ability to work under pressure, driving license class B and willingness to travel up to 25 % of the time
